Anti AbortionYou can't kill something unless it is alive. An unborn baby can be killed, therefore it is alive. Not only is an unborn baby alive; at 8 weeks old it has a heartbeat, brainwaves, can feel pain, and is fed daily. He is no less a person than you are. He just happens to be in a protected environment during his first few months of growth. He is no more a person when he leaves that environment for new surroundings, but it is very helpless. He cannot speak for himself. He is dependent on those who are stronger to protect him at this early stage of life just as any other child is. The most dangerous place for a baby is in its mother's womb. In fact, during the time it takes the average person to read this pamphlet, six American babies will have been brutally murdered in what is supposed to be their protected environment. 4000 unborn children are killed in this country EVERY DAY! That means 1.5 million innocent little babies will be murdered in the United States this year - one every 24 seconds. Tragically, those who are stronger aren't doing a very good job of protecting our unborn children. When the subject of abortion comes up, we usually hear about needing to protect the life of the mother and the victims of rape and incest; but in our modern society mothers almost never lose their lives giving birth, and it is extremely rare for a woman to get pregnant from incest or after the trauma of rape. Let's face it, abortion in America has become a form of birth control. We are murdering babies by the millions. Each year since the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion in America, more unborn babies have been deliberately killed than in all the wars of our nation's history put together. This mass murder of babies is a reflection of the modern American thinking that God doesn't matter in the affairs of daily life and that the Bible, which tells us not to murder is irrelevant.
But Friend, if we want God to bless America, we had better wake up! No man or woman has the "right to choose" to murder another human being. Many Americans care more about owls and trees than fellow human beings! If we want God to bless America, we had better change our minds toward Him and His Word, and quick, for "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." There is only one solution"If my people which are called my My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land." Snow falls one snowflake at a time, and nations are turned one heart at a time. Is it your time to turn back to God? Do so with all of your heart and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour today.
